DANCE, ART, INDUSTRY AND PROFESION
Dance is one of the
most important arts in the history, however many people think that it is not an
art, that is just something to have fun or even worse, that is a sport, which
is totally wrong.
Also many people
think that dance is just something for girls, that the boys who do it are gay,
transvestite or whatever stupid things they want to say.
The truth is that
there are no more gay people that in other professions, and the truth are that
many of the dancers are some of the most smart and capable in the world,
because they need to study as all the kids do and also they need to study dance
at the same time in their free time. So, if you see that they need to have 2
different lives, moreover some of the boys need to hide his dancer´s life
because of the foolish, idiot and stupid people that makes fun of them.
There are countries
like USA, UK, Germany or France that people are getting more educated so they
appreciated how hard it´s being a dancer and how important it is the art for
the human being. However there are countries like Russia, Spain and all the
homophobe and uneducated countries of the world, that they don´t want to move
forwards into a better world with more knowledge and opportunities.
To those stupid
people I need to say, that at the moment the dance world is that big, that more
than 452.000.000 people work on it, because the dance world is much more than
dancers, there are dancers, musicians, designers, choreographers, actors… As
well, there are more than 200 dance styles: Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary
Dance, and Flamenco…
So if you are one of
those people who are disregarding the dance world, you need to know that many
of the stars that you admire are part of the Dance World: Michael Jackson, John
Travolta, Fred Astaire, Rudolf Nureyev, So you might think about it and
reconsider your opinion about this magnificent world of artists and life.
If you haven´t change
your opinion yet, read this article and see how the people of the future have
already changed it:
“The future health of
the nation is in safe hands, as a new survey has revealed most children dream
of becoming doctors when they grow up.
It was chosen as the
best job by 1,000 boys and girls aged between two and 12, ahead of teacher,
actor and scientist.
Nurse, fire fighter
and musician also made the list of top ten jobs chosen by youngsters, in
research conducted by Mother care.
Surprisingly, more
boys than girls dream of becoming dancers - while girls put footballer ahead of
dancer in their list of favourites.
When asked what was
the most important part of a job, the majority of children (34 per cent) said
that ‘having fun’ and ‘helping others’ was more important than being rich or
famous.
Only 1 per cent
wanted to be a celebrity or reality TV star, but 2 per cent most wanted to
become actors.
Eight per cent of
boys said that they would most like to become dancers, perhaps taking
inspiration from televised dance competitions such as Strictly Come Dancing and
Got To Dance.
Girls seem to be
swapping ballet shoes for football boots, with 2 per cent more listing
footballer as their dream job.
Lawyer, which was a
popular choice for children in the past, did not appear on any of the lists.
The survey marks the
launch of Mother care’s ‘Born To’ range for Save the Children.
For every item in the
‘Born To’ range sold, Mother care will donate £1 to the charity, Save the
Children.
Jude Bridge, Mother
care’s brand and marketing director, said: 'At Mother care we think every child
deserves to achieve their dreams and grow up healthy, happy and safe but
unfortunately, not all children get the opportunity to do what they were born
to do.
'We want to celebrate
the potential of every child, and promote the positive message that every child
is born to fulfil their potential.'
Douglas Rouse,
corporate partnerships director at Save the Children, said: 'Mother care and
Save the Children are committed to giving children the best chances in
life.
'For this reason, we launched
Born to Care, our global charity partnership. Together we aim to raise £1.75
million to help ensure that no child is born to die.
'More than £1.2
million has been raised by Mother care staff and customers in the last two
years and we hope the fantastic new ‘Born To’ collection will help us reach our
target and continue to support children in the UK and around the world.'
