El pasado sábado tuvo lugar la ceremonia de clausura de la 71º edición del Festival de Cannes, en donde el jurado presidido por la actriz australiana Cate Blanchett decidió otorgar la Palme d´Or , el galardón más importante de la noche, al director japonés Hirozaku Kore-eda por su película Shoplifters y además, el cineasta Spike Lee obtuvo el Grand Prix por su última obra, BlacKkKlansman . A lo largo de esta edición, ha estado muy presente la reivindicación de la mujer en la industria del cine, a través de la impactante marcha feminista liderada por la propia Cate Blanchett y otros rostros conocidos de la gran pantalla como Marion Cotillard, Kristen Stewart and Salma Hayek, reclamando más presencia femenina e igualdad en este arte. Pablo Picasso was born in Málaga in 1881 and died in the French commune of Mougins in 1973 and the age of 91, leaving us an artistic legacy of more than 16,000 works according to the art critic and collector Christian Zervos, being one of the most influential painters of all time.
