THE CUTTING EDGE DIGITAL ART HOUSE IN RIGA

Since the enormous success of the international exhibition  The Great Modernists. From Monet to Kandinsky , the Digital Art House in Riga has been in in continuous expansion. Their motto  Technology is our forte  says it all. Their cutting edge exhibitions truly change the perspective of the viewer on the artist´s heritage. LATVIA´S CENTENARY. A MONUMENTAL EXHIBITION IN RIGA

Since 2018 Latvia is celebrating their 100 th anniversary since their independence in 1918, right after the First World War. As a small country between European giants, they have had a tough history suffering continuous invasions and seeing how their territory became the battlefield of both World Wars. Nevertheless, the result of these socio-political swings, Riga had become a crossroads of cultures and a key point of northern Europe. Nowadays, as part of the European Union, this country is experiencing a new rebirth celebrating their freedom and its desire for modernity. An example of it is the monumental project “Latvia´s Century. Museums for Latvia´s 100 th anniversary”, an exhibition that is taking place at the National History Museum of Latvia until mid-2021. LA VIDA ES BELLA Y NOA, UNA EMOTIVA INICIATIVA

La crisis del coronavirus no solo está cambiando nuestro modo de entender el mundo, sino también la forma en que percibimos la cultura y con ello, la manera en que los creadores nos hacen llegar sus obras a través de Internet, un verdadero escenario digital mediante las tecnologías de la web 2.0. En las últimas semanas, hemos podido observar infinidad de propuestas de artistas, tanto nacionales e internacionales, ya sea para presentar una nueva propuesta artística o simplemente para conectar con su público. No cabe duda, de que la iniciativa de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León de grabar la icónica canción de  La vida es bella  junto a la cantante israelí Noa, es una de las más emotivas, dado su objetivo benéfico de recaudar fondos para los hospitales de la Comunidad de Madrid, entre otros.
