Today, is the last day that you can visit the exhibition  Un air d´ Italie at the  Opera National de Paris  and co-organised with the  Bibliothèque nationale de France.  The Paris Opera founded in 1669 by Louis XIV under the direction of Jean-Baptiste Lully and in fact, classical ballet as we know it today arose within this institution at that time. Since then, it has been passed from generation to generation, being spread throughout the world until it has become one of the most represented performing arts today alongside operas and classical music. For all these reasons, the Paris Opera has always remained a lighthouse for all this artistic framework.  Nowadays, in addition to the 380 performances at the  Palais Garnier  and the  Opéra Bastille  reaching an audience of over 800,000 people, they have launched a cycle of exhibitions to publicize the content of their scenic works within the framework of their library-museum in the heart of Paris. Last Sunday, I attended the recently created  Riga Jurmala Music Festival (RJMF), which in its inauguration edition is already gathering some of finest orchestras in the world (Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra) as well as an interesting selection of alternative smaller performances and solo concerts. Durante un largo tiempo (más del que me hubiera gustado admitir),  La Sombra del Viento  (2001) de Carlos Ruiz Zafón se encontraba en lo alto de mi lista de libros imprescindibles para leer de la literatura española contemporánea. Tras el rotundo éxito de  Bohemian Raphsody  (2018), que narra la vida del cantante Freddie Mercury y la trayectoria del grupo de rock  Queen  desde su formación hasta que llegan a la cúspide de la música, formando parte del megaconcierto  Live Aid  (1985) en el estadio de Wembley junto a las grandes estrellas del momento.
