In this video you can watch a fragment of the piece of Elite Syncopations by the well-known British choreographer, Kenneth Macmillan. This piece was created in 1974 for the Royal Ballet.

LOS GOYA RECUPERAN SU BRILLO EN VALENCIA

La alfombra roja relució más que nunca en los pasados premios Goya, que se celebraron este sábado en el Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía en Valencia. Por primera vez en sus treinta y seis años de historia, el galardón más preciado del cine español otorgó el Goya Internacional, que recayó en la actriz australiana Cate Blanchett por su inigualable contribución al cine como arte (valiéndole entre otros dos Oscar). Mientras que los cuatro españoles nominados a los Oscar recibieron el apoyo unánime del sector para luchar por traer otro éxito más para nuestro cine. GAYANE (1972), A MASTERPIECE OF THE SOVIET BALLET

In 1972, a young choreographer (still unknown to the dance world) arrived in Riga to create a brand new ballet  Gayané  (his first full length ballet): a production which became one of “the staples of the Soviet and Eastern European ballet repertory” in the words of Anna Kisselgoff, the iconic New York Times dance critic. An undoubtedly, positioned the Riga Ballet on top of the Soviet ballet, until becoming the third most important institution in the former Soviet Union, after the Bolshoi in Moscow and the Mariinsky (Kirov) in Saint Petersburg. Nowadays, after the fall of the USSR, this institution (renamed as the Latvian National Ballet) continues to maintain its high artistic level, mainly due to its rich and fruitful history, since Nicholas Sergeyev (the author of the Sergeyev Collection: the precious annotations of the productions of Marius Petipa that have been able to keep classical ballet alive in the last 150 years) became its first director in 1922. ISADORA, THE CREATIVITY SERVER

Isadora is a  digital media software that allow artists to build interactive live performances and installations. In its two decades of existence, it has become an essential tool for any creator who is experimenting with new technologies and the way to introduce them into their own creative processes. In fact, the global lockdown has accelerated this integration. The current situation has forced artists to reinvent themselves and figure it out how they could still create from their houses and keep collaboration with other artists worldwide. Therefore the COVID-19 pandemic has established the path for 21 st  century art. Isadora was first released in 2002 by media artist, composer and programmer Mark Coniglio, who is also the co-founder of Troika Ranch.
