“THE GREAT MODERNISTS: FROM MONET TO KANDINSKY”, A MUST SEE EXHIBITION IN RIGA
A few days ago, I was lucky enough to be able to attend to the exhibition
The Great Modernists: from Monet to
Kandinsky at the Digital House in Riga which has been shown for the first
time in the Baltics, after blowing away the audience in Paris, Berlin, Tokyo or
Moscow. This spectacular multimedia show presents the works of 16 of the most
renowned artists of the Modernism such as Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Paul
Gauguin, Henri Rosseau, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Gustav Klimt, Paul Signac,
Pete Mondrian, Amedeo Modigliani, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Juan
Gris, Paul Klee, Franz Marcc, Kazimir Malevich or Wassily Kandisnky. In total,
the eye of the spectator will witness more than 5.000 works from 20 different
museums around the globe which have been combined uniquely through several animated
video projects accompanied perfectly with a selection of musical setting.
Definitely, it is a completely different way of feeling a work of art that will
transport you to another sensitive dimension. Therefore, do not lose his
opportunity to experience it until 10th August to visit this must
see exhibition in Riga.
