GOLDEN GLOBES 2019: FREDDIE MERCURY WINS




Last Sunday at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, took place the 76th Golden Globes Awards, where the Hollywood Foreign Press Asociation honoured the best in film and American television of 2018. This year, Green Book, starring Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen, won the Best Motion Picture in a Musical or Comedy as well as the most awards for the ceremony with three and Roma, the new film by the Oscar winning director Alfonso Cuaron won two awards. However, this was the night of Freddie Mercury as the film Bohemian Rhapsody won the Best Motion Picture-Drama and Rami Malek won the Best Performance in this category for his outstanding performance as the leader of the British rock band Queen. As well as Glenn Close when she gave a memorable speech defending women rights in the performing arts industry. All of this and more in the next compilation of the best moments from The Night/TODAY.
