CANNES 2017, PEDRO ALMODOVAR MAKES HISTORY
The Cannes Film Festival is celebrating its 70th anniversary, being founded back in the middle of the XX Century. Nowadays it stands, as the most prestigious film festival in the world, through its year all the most relevant celebrities have gone through its red carpet and many of the film directors have consecrated their careers by winning the desired Palme d´Or, such as Orson Wells, Federico Fellini, Francis Ford Coppola or
Michael Haneke. Even though, we don´t know yet the winner of this year, one director had already made history, the worldwide known Spanish Director Pedro Almodovar is the president of the Jury of this current edition, being the first Spanish to achieve such an honour. We can be sure that he will do a fantastic job and that he will choose the best film of all of the ones selected, to enter into the Palme d´Or Hall of Fame of the Festival.
